You do not need the other person to sign up before you can track money with them.

1. Create the card. Press Add partner without user and give it a name, such as the driver's name.

2. Record as usual. Expenses and transfers with this partner work exactly like any other. The card is marked Unlinked.

3. Share the claim code. The card shows a Claim code; press Copy and send it to the person.

4. They claim it. When they enter the code in their account, the card is linked and the entire history stays with it.

If they later join with their own account, you can also link the card by pasting their token from the partner's edit form.
